Stayed at Red Chilli Hideaway in Kampala Uganda as part of an over landing trip so most of the group were camping in the grounds, We upgraded to a dorm for a really cheap price and had the dorm to ourselves.

The pizzas were great and freshly cooked to order with the added bonus of free wifi. Came back for a second stay after gorilla trekking and enjoyed the second visit just as much.

The food selection was good, and we had a BBQ one night and Pizza the next and both were very tasty.

There was a good selection of communal seating inside and out and they seemed geared up for a good selection of tours though unfortunately we didn't have time to sample anyway.

They could do with more medium sized lockers as they were all full when we were there, though it felt quite safe so didn't feel I had to have one.

Free Wifi was reliable.

The location of the hostel was good for us - in a suburb of Kampala, walking distance to a small 'town' with ATM, grocery store ,... For a fee can hire a driver to take you into Kampala.

I'd recommend this hostel for sure. Would definitely stay here again if I ever find myself back in this area of Kampala!
